The calm coastal waters around Tenerife are home to an incredible array of marine life. On this exclusive adults-only cruise, you'll have a chance to spot pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins as they leap and frolic in their natural North Atlantic habitat.

Take in Tenerife's dramatic coastal terrain, all while sunning yourself and feeling the cool breeze as you lounge on deck – for your comfort, the boat is a quarter under capacity. Your captain will sail into waters known for hosting pods of dolphins and whales. With luck, you'll get to spot these magnificent creatures. You'll even have time to take a swim.

And to top it all off, you'll be pampered by the crew. There'll be complimentary drinks at the shaded bar, and you'll lunch on board. It's a great morning or afternoon searching for some of Mother Nature's most interesting creatures while chilling out on board.

Millenial Dragon Tree Park Tenerife

This is your chance to set eyes on a living national monument – the drago milenario, or millennial dragon tree. It's one of the oldest living species in the world, and you can take a closer look at the Millenial Dragon Tree Park, which comes complete with a sustainable garden to stroll around, picnic area and views over Teide all around.Believed to be over 800 years old, the drago milenario tree deserves all the attention it gets. Set in a park in the north of Tenerife, near Icod de los Vinos, you'll not be able to take your eyes off the main attraction – it reaches an incredible 18 metres into the sky.Once you've taken in the majesty of the drago milenario tree, you'll find a garden that represents all the differing endemic species of Tenerife, as well as background views of the Teide in the distance. Spanish, English and German video guides are available throughout the parl, then there's the winery and a cave with a reconstruction of an aboriginal Guanche burial to check out too.

Pyramids of Güímar Ticket

There are lots of theories surrounding origin and age of the Pyramids of Güímar, which you'll get to see up close when you visit. Choose from different entry options, which can include the Poison Garden, exhibitions, museum, auditorium and outdoor routes.Founded by Norwegian researcher Thor Heyerdahl, the Pyramids of Güímar and Botanical Garden are a sight to behold. Six pyramids, made entirely of lava stone, still stand among exhibits and gardens. There are different ticket options to choose from, depending on your interests, including ‘Pyramids and much more' where you'll see the pyramids, museum, auditorium, outdoor routes and sustainable garden.Meanwhile the ‘Plants and poisons' ticket includes entry to the Canary Islands' only poisonous plant garden, and the ‘Colonizing Polynesia' ticket also gives you access to the exhibition on Easter Island. Palmetum Botanical Garden Ticket

Something of a rags to riches story, the Palmetum in Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a place you need to see to believe. Once a rubbish dump, this now 12-hectare botanical garden is blossoming with one of the greatest collections of tropical palms in Europe as well as plants from all over the world.Plant lovers will be in their element as you stroll around the Palmetum. Over 400 species of palms alone have been planted around the gardens, all set out by geographical area.
